Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has
made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (BENDIX STREET,
PICCADILLY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF
WAITING AND LOADING/UNLOADING, DISABLED
PERSONS PARKING PLACE, GOODS VEHICLE
LOADING/UNLOADING, LIMITED WAITING PARKING
PLACES AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025 under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to
introduce:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME:
Bendix St, both sides from Oldham Rd in a north westerly
direction for 17.5m.
NO WAITING MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-6PM AND
SATURDAY 8AM-12.30PM:
Bendix St, (i) north east side, from 57m north west of
Oldham Rd in a north westerly direction to Chadderton St,
(ii) south west side, from 17.5m north west of Oldham Rd in
a north westerly direction to Chadderton St.
NO LOADING AT ANY TIME:
Bendix St, both sides from Oldham Rd in a north westerly
direction for 17.5m.
LIMITED WAITING 2 HOURS, NO RETURN WITHIN 1
HOUR MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-6PM AND SATURDAY
8AM-12.30PM:
Bendix St, north east side, from 24.1m north west of
Oldham Rd in a north westerly direction for 18.9m with a
width of 2m.
DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE:
Bendix St, north east side from 17.5m north west of
Oldham Rd in a north westerly direction for 6.6m with a
width of 2.7m.
GOODS VEHICLE LOADING PARKING PLACE:
Bendix St, north east side from 43m north west of Oldham
Rd in a north westerly direction for 14m with a width of
2.7m.
The Order was made on 7th November 2025 and will
come into effect on 14th November 2025. A copy of Order
and the plan are available for inspection at the Customer
Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60
2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am
and 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Anyone wishing to question
the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on
the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement
of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks
from 7th November 2025 apply to the High Court for such
purpose.
