CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE (STATION ROAD) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

What is happening?

1.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council
of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend,
not less than seven days from the date of this
Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect
of which will be to prohibit any traffic to proceed
on Station Road, from a point 122 metres
southwest of its junction with B6918 Main Road,
for 21 metres in a south-westerly direction.
2.  The alternative route for traffic will be signed on
site as required.
3.  The order is required to allow works to be
carried out on or near the highway.
4.  Exemptions will be provided for vehicles and
personnel engaged in the said works.
5.  The Order will come into operation on 25
November 2025 at 23:45 and will continue,
as and when the relevant traffic signs are
displayed, up to 1 December 2025 at 04:30
or until the proposed works are completed,
whichever is the earlier.
