What is happening?

WHEN: 07 December 2025 to 05 June 2026.
WHERE: Close Public Footpath No.80 at SK3059946699
where it crosses Franker Brook.
REASON: To facilitate public safety due to unsafe structure.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From Ashbourne Road travel
west and take footpath No.18 Turnditch, which leads
into footpath No.77. Follow Footpath No.77 until it meets
footpath No.80 after the closure point. Vice versa from the
south.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible,
on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open
as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than
advertised. Anyone needing further information should
ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190. The County Council
Intends to make an order under Section 14 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use
by traffic.
