STRAND, SWANSEA (PART)
NOTICE 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance
of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend to make an
Order. In order for V3 Group Ltd to periodically locate a crane at the above location, it will
be necessary to temporarily close the above road in part to vehicular traffic

SCHEDULE - TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STRAND, SWANSEA (PART)
Strand from its junction with Welcome Lane in a south-easterly direction to is junction with
A4067 Quay Parade, a distance of approximately 360 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Welcome Lane, B4489 Castle Street,
B4489 Castle Bailey Street, B4489 Castle Square, Caer Street, Princess Way, A4067
Victoria Road and A4067 Quay Parade, a distance of approximately 960 metres.
This route will not operate in the reverse direction.
Access for emergency vehicles to be maintained at all times.
The maximum duration of the order is 18 months and it is anticipated the work will take 18 months to complete (Closures only to be used periodically when needed) effective from Monday 17th November 2025.
