ASTON PARISH AND PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY No. 0.856(a) BLYMHILL AND

WESTON-UNDER-LIZARD PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 4/11/25, made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any persons from proceeding along the full length of Public Bridleway No. 0.1009 Lapley, Stretton and Wheaton Aston Parish and Public Bridleway No. 0.856(a) Blymhill and Weston under Lizard Parish from the junction with

Public Bridleway No. 21 Lapley, Stretton and Wheaton Aston Parish to the junction of Public Bridleway No.20 Blymhill and Weston under Lizard

The closure is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public using the bridleway due to the condition of the bridge and subsequent works required.

This Order will come into operation on 6/112025 and continues the restriction that came in to force on 17/10/25 and will remain in force for a period of six months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. If necessary, after six months, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.
