Willesden, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Crane Operation & Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (As Amended) - High Road, Willesden - (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 202*
The Council of the London Borough of Brent hereby give notice that, to facilitate tower crane operation and associated works in High Road, Willesden, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to:-
(a) compel vehicles proceeding:-
(i) in a general north-easterly direction in Church Road upon reaching the junction with High Road, Willesden to proceed right only;
(ii) in a general south-westerly direction in High Road, Willesden upon reaching the junction with Church Road to proceed left only;
(b) prohibit vehicles proceeding in a general north-easterly direction on Church Road upon reaching its junction with High Road, Willesden from turning left into High Road, Willesden;
(c) suspend the bus lane Church Road;
(d) pedestrians from entering or proceeding in the length of the south-eastern footway of High Road, Willesden, which lies between the north-western kerb-line of Church Road and the north-eastern kerb-line of Neasden Lane; when and where appropriate traffic signs are being displayed.
The prohibitions referred to above would apply from 22nd November 2025 to 23rd November 2025 and between 29th November 2025 to 30th November 2025 inclusive, or until the said works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The works are expected to take place between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. from 22nd November 2025 to 23rd November 2025, with the following dates being backup dates.
Access to premises in or adjacent to High Road, Willesden would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
Vehicular traffic affected by the prohibitions and suspension referred to in (a) to (c) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
Pedestrians affected by the prohibitions referred to in (d) above should proceed as indicated by traffic signs.
