Beckett Street Sustainable Travel Corridor
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) proposes to make the above Orders, the effect of which will be to. 1. Prohibit Waiting at any Time on the north-west side of Burmantofts St, north of Rider St; and also on both sides of Beckett St, south of Lincoln Green Rd. 2. Introduce ‘With Flow’ Bus, Taxi and Pedal Cycle Lanes on: a. Burmantofts St from Rigton App onto Beckett St, to south of Lincoln Green Rd (Northbound); b. Burmantofts St; south of Rigton App (Southbound); c. Beckett St between Lincoln Green Rd and Granville Rd (Northbound); and d. Beckett St from Rectory St, to north of Accommodation Rd (Southbound). 3. Prohibit Right Turn Movements from Burmantofts St into Rider St; and also from Beckett St into Accommodation Rd. (Speed Limits) (City Wide) Order 2025
Amendment Order No.7 2025: Selby Road & Irwin
Approach, Halton 20mph Speed Limit
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20MPH Speed Limit on 1. Selby Road, Halton; from its junction with Rock Terrace, in an easterly direction to a point 14 metres east of its junction with Field End Gardens; and 2. The entire length of Irwin Approach. Details of the proposals including plans showing the affected lengths of highway and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for the Order are available on request by e-mailing the address below.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 81, 84, 85, 87, 89, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’), the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers, proposes to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce A 20MPH Zone comprising 1. The full lengths of Aire St; Bishopgate St; Bowling Green Terr; Bowman La; Brewery Pl; Bridge End; Butcher St; Cudbear St; Dock St; East Parade; Foundry St; High Court; Hunslet La; Kendell St; King St; Kirkgate; Meadow La; Merrion St; Navigation Walk; Neville St; New Station St; Northern St; Pitfall St; Princes Sq; Quebec St; Riverside Crt & Way; Saw Mill St; Sheaf St; South Brook St; Springwell Crt/Rd/St/View; Swinegate; The Calls; Thirsk Row; Trent St; Union Pl; Wade La;; Walton St; Waterloo St; Wellington Park Way; Wellington Pl; Whitehall Quay & Westgate. 2. Sections of Call La; Calverley St; Globe Rd; Great George St; Hunslet Rd; Marshall St; New Briggate; Water La; Wellington St; Wharf App and Whitehall Rd.
