What is happening?

AINSWORTH LANE AREA

TEMPORARY CLOSURES

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14

The Council intends to make an order, operative from 17 November 2025 for 8 days approx, the effect of which will be to implement the following closures and restrictions to allow for electricity works.

ONE-WAY TRAFFIC:

Ainsworth Lane - from Bury Rd to Jethro St. Permitted direction: northerly.

SIDE STREET CLOSURES:

Barnard St, Scowroft St, Leslie St, Back Tonge Moor Rd, Union Rd, Back Horsa St, Horsa St, Pole St, Olaf St, Back Union Rd.

Diversions will be signed. The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
