PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(COALWAY ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Coalway Road in both
directions from its junction with Shenstone Court to outside
property 2.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken on 9 November 2025, between the hours of
08:00 and 17:00.
The diversion route is: Penn Road, Stubbs Road, Birches
Barn Road, Trysull Road, Oxbarn Avenue and vice versa
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of defective
carriageway reinstatement by Severn Trent Water.
