What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(MONTPELIER PARK) (NO. 2)

(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TEMP/25/119

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate Scottish Water disconnection works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of Montpelier Pk, from the extended south-east kerbline of Montpelier, southeastwards for 37m. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The alternative route for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Montpelier Pk is Montpelier Pk, Bruntsfield Pl, Viewforth, Viewforth Ter, Montpelier Ter & Montpelier Pk. The Order shall have effect from 13/11/25 to 22/11/25.
