What is happening?

ABERDEENSHIRE COUNCIL

TARVES – 40MPH SPEED LIMIT

NOTICE is given that on 05/11/25, “The Aberdeenshire Council (C31c, Tarves) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2023” has been made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.

The effect of the order. which will come into operation on 10/11/25, will be to introduce a 40mph speed limit on the following road in Tarves:

C31c – from 33 metres south of its junction with the C35c, southwards for a distance of 147 metres The original proposals were advertised in the Ellon Times on 20/07/23.

A copy of the finalised order is available for inspection during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks at the undernoted address from 06/11/25.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements arising from the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks of 06/11/25 apply to the Court of Session for this purpose.
