Carr Green Drive, Carr Geen Lane, Wentworth Court, Crowtrees Lane, Crowtrees Crescent & Oaklands in Brighouse Area - Introduction of No Waiting

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

(ON-STREET WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024 (VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 2025/6

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of Calderdale (“the Council”) in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) intends to make the above Order, the effect of which will be to introduce in Brighouse:

•  no waiting at any time restrictions on Carr Green Drive, Carr Geen Lane and Wentworth Court,

•  no waiting Monday-Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm on the SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR markings on Carr Green Lane,

•  no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading restrictions on a length of Crowtrees Lane and Crowtrees Crescent, and

•  no waiting at any time restrictions on lengths of Oaklands.

Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including the statement of reasons for proposing it and plans showing the affected roads are available for inspections at Halifax Central Library, HX1 1QG from 10:00am to 5.30pm on Mondays to Fridays and 10:00am to 4.00pm on Saturdays. If you wish to object or make representation to any part of the proposed Order you must send the grounds for your objection in writing to reach the Council no later than 28 November 2025 to either proposedtro@calderdale.gov.uk or Highways and Transportation, c/o The Town Hall, Crossley Street, Halifax HX1 1UJ, FAO: Traffic Team. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
