Overlee Road, Clarkston - Temporary Road Closure due to Scottish Water Utility Works

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROAD
ORDER 2025
On the 31 October 2025 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order authorises to restrict vehicular access on a section of Overlee Road (from its junction with Busby Road up to property no.3), Clarkston, in order to facilitate the safe operation of Scottish Water utility works scheduled to be carried from Monday 15 December to Tuesday 23 December 2025.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Diversion routes:
Southbound: Busby Road – Viaduct Road – Linwood Avenue – Victoria Crescent – Overlee Road,
Northbound: Busby Road (north) – Clarkston Toll – Busby Road (south) – Viaduct Road – Linwood Avenue – Victoria Crescent – Overlee Road.
