(Milland: Borden Lane)
(20mph Speed Limit) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to reduce the speed limit to 20mph on the entire length of Borden Lane, Milland.
The Order will come into operation on 10 November 2025. Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 6 November 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close Mapsons Lane.
The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst gas mains works are undertaken.
The Order came into effect on 24 November 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated works will commence on 24 November 2025 and will take 3 weeks to complete. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
