Wednesbury / West Bromwich / Tipton - Temporary Road & Footpath Closures
What is happening?
SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Borough Council of Sandwell (Remembrance Road & Connaught Avenue, Wednesbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Remembrance Road, Wednesbury which will be closed from the dividing line of property numbers 34 & 36 to the dividing line of property numbers 38 & 40, Connaught Avenue, Wednesbury will be closed at the junction of Remebrance Road (19/11/2025) (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). A traffic diversion route will be signed via Kent Road, McDougall Road, Coronation Road and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 19/11/2025 effective from 19/11/2025 (08:00 – 16:00). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Sheridan Street, West Bromwich) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Sheridan Street, West Bromwich which will be closed from the dividing line of property numbers 37 & 39 to the dividing line of property numbers 41 & 43 (17/11/2025 - 19/11/2025) (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). A traffic diversion route will be signed via Grafton Road, Sandwell Road North, Stoney Lane and vice versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 19/11/2025 effective from 17/11/2025 (24hrs). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Harrold Street & Hackett Street, Tipton) (Temporary Road Closure & Footway Closure) Order 2025 intends to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Harrold Street which will be closed from its junction with Hackett Street for approximately 12 metres and Hackett Street which will be closed from its junction with Harrold Street for approximately 12 metres (17/11/2025 - 18/11/2025) (access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits). A footway closure will be in place on Aston Street at the junction of Hackett Street for approximately 13 metres. A traffic diversion route will not be signed because as Hackett Street & Harrold Street are not through roads. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 18/11/2025 effective from 17/11/2025 (08:00 - 18:00).
