NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U114 SUNNYSIDE CRESCENT SPITTAL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U114 Sunnyside Crescent Spittal from outside the front of number 9 Sunnyside Crescent heading in a northerly direction for a length of 25 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 13th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 3rd December 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 13th December 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Farne Road, Sunnyside Crescent and vice-versa and should the need arise
changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to carry out lining works to the sewer. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U112 BREWERY LANE TWEEDMOUTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U112 Brewery Lane Tweedmouth from its junction with Main Street heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 10 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 12th December 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th December 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 12th December 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Brewery Lane, Brewery Bank, Main Street and vice-versa and should the
need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northern Gas Networks to excavate to locate fire value and to build up and ensure accessible in case of emergencies. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
B6349 SIONSIDE TO BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6349 Sionside to Belford from its junction with the C40 heading in an easterly direction for a length of 550 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th May 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st December 2025 until the 5th December 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th May 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being B6349, C40, B6348, A1, B1342 and vice-versa and should the need arise
changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carry out works on a depression in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
PARISH OF ANCROFT BYWAY OPEN TO ALL
TRAFFIC NUMBER 6 (TEMPORARY BYWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Ancroft Byway Open to All Traffic Number 6, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows: Ancroft Byway No 6
From a point immediately south of the junction with Public Footpath No 82, 220 metres east of Seaview House in a south-easterly direction, east of the railway line, for a distance of 1950 metres to a point on the U15 road immediately west of The Lodge, Sea House.
There is no alternative route available.

The Order is to be effective from the 12th November 2025 until the 14th November 2025. The closure has been requested by Centurion Traffic Management in the interests of public safety, to facilitate bridge and level
crossing maintenance.
