(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC
REGULATION) ORDER 2025 – TEMP/25/146
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works, no person shall: (a) except upon the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform, cause or permit any motor vehicle to enter into, remain, or proceed in or on any part of: (i) Pirniefield Bk from Pirniefield Pl south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to the extended north-west building line of No. 29 Pirniefield Bk which includes the cul-de-sac to No.’s 16-22 but excludes the access road leading to No.17 Pirniefield Bk; and (ii) Seafield Ave at Pirniefield Bk; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of Pirniefield Bk from Pirniefield Pl south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards to the extended north-west building line of No. 29 Pirniefield Bk which includes the cul-de-sac to No.’s 16-22 but excludes the access road leading to No.17 Pirniefield Bk. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described. There is no available diversion with respect to the closures of (i) Pirniefield Bk and (ii) Seafield Avenue, where local access will be maintained. The Order shall have effect from 10/11/25 to 02/02/26.
