What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14

(KINGSLEY DRIVE/OAKWAY, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Kingsley Drive from a point outside property no. 55 to a point outside property no. 65 including junction of Oakway PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Kingsley Drive, Bottoms Lane, Kingsley Crescent, Kingsley Avenue, Kingsley Drive and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday,

24 November 2025 and remain in force until 19 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(CALIFORNIA LANE/LISTINGS LANE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of  California Lane/ Listings Lane, Gomersal, Cleckheaton for the whole of California Lane to approximately 20 metres either side of the junction of California Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:

Diversion : Oxford Road, Quarry Road and vice versa Diversion 1 : Listings Lane, Bradford Road, Leeds Road, Gomersal Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday

11 November 2025 and remain in force until 12 December

2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(NUNROYD, HECKMONDWIKE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of  Nunroyd, Heckmondwike from its junction with Redfearn Avenue to its junction with Dale Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Jeremy Lane, Bridge Street, New North Road, Leeds Old Road, Nunroyd and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday

10 November 2025 and remain in force until 19 December 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
