(SCHOOL LANE, WALTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 344) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds for metalwork repairs and
painting affected areas on bridge structure to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: School Lane, Walton for approximately 20 metres
either side of railway bridge. The Order shall also have the effect of closing
any roads at their junctions the closed length of School Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Greenside, Shay Lane, School Lane & vice versa
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2025 to 15th November 2025 between 22.00 hours to 07.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(WINDHILL VIEW, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 347) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to complete footway surfacing to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Windhill View, Wakefield, full length. The Order shall
also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length
of Windhill View.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2025 to 12th November 2025, closed 07.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(ARNCLIFFE ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 348) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield has made an Order on traffic management grounds to complete footway patching to be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Arncliffe Road, Wakefield, from the side of numbers
49/51 to the side of numbers 101/103. The Order shall also have the effect
of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Arncliffe Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: N/A
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 11th November 2025 to 18th November 2025, closed 07.30 hours to 15.30 hours, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner. 
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
(PORTOBELLO ROAD, WAKEFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER (NO 357) 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Wakefield intend
to make an Order on traffic management grounds to remove vegetation to
be carried out as follows:-
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Portobello Road, Wakefield. The Order shall also have the effect of closing any roads at their junctions the closed length of Portobello Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Portobello Road, Manygates Avenue, Manygates
Lane, Warren Avenue & vice versa.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From and including 26th November 2025 at 22.00 hours to 27th November 2025 at 06.00 hours or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Access to the premises on the closed length of road will be maintained
whenever possible.
