Remembrance Events in Angus - Temporary Traffic Arrangements

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 03/11/2025 the Council made The Angus Council (Remembrance Events in Angus) (Temporary Traffic Arrangements) Order 2025 under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the purposes of minimising danger to the public attending or participating in Remembrance Day events. The Order will come into force on 09/11/25 and continue in force for one day. The effect of the Order is to:- (i) prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on Dundee Street, Carnoustie; (ii) The Cross, East High Street, West High Street and Castle Street, Forfar; (iii) Albert Street, Monifieth; (iv) prohibit the waiting of vehicles; West Path, Carnoustie and Union Road, Montrose; (iv) impose a ‘rolling road closure’ on various streets in Brechin, Forfar, Monifieth and Montrose. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
