What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(A330 ASCOT ROAD (PART), MAIDENHEAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2025
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of the A330 Ascot Road from its junction with Philberds Lodge southward to the access road to Moor Farm.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via A330 Ascot Road, A330 Kingscroft Lane, A330 Cocks Lane, A330 Maidens Green, A330 Church Road, A330 Pidgeonhouse Lane, A330 Lovel Road, A330 Hatchet Lane, A330 Winkfield Road, A332 Windsor Road, A332 Peanut Roundabout, A332 
Sheet Street Road, A332 Kings Road, A308 Osborne Road, A308 Frances Road, A308 Alma Road, A308 Goslar Way, A332 Royal Windsor Way off slip, A308 Maidenhead Road, A308 Windsor Road, A308 Braywick Roundabout and A330 Ascot Road.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works on the highway, namely resurfacing works and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.

The Order shall come into operationfrom 20:00 hours on Friday 7th November until 06:00 hours on Saturday 7th November 2025. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
