What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(DUNCAN STREET) (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY ROAD

RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 - TEMP/25/133

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate Scottish Water valve repair works, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of Duncan St at its junction with Minto St. The eastbound one-way restriction on Duncan St, between Upper Gray St & Minto St shall be suspended for the duration of this Order to facilitate local access. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Duncan St are: (i) Duncan St, South Gray St, W Mayfield & Minto St; & (ii) Minto St, Salisbury Pl, Upper Gray St and Duncan St. The Order shall have effect from 10/11/25 to 19/11/25.
