Carters Hill, Temporary Road Closure Due To Patching Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CARTERS HILL, WOKINGHAM) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:
a) Carters Hill, Wokingham between Billingbear Lane and Church Hill.
The alternative route for this closure is Billingbear Lane, B3018 Church Hill and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway patching works. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 24th November 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on 24th November between 07:30 and 18:00.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
