Hipper Street - Temporary Road Closure and Suspension of One-Way Order

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER
HIPPER STREET, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 21 November to 29 November 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Hipper Street, Chesterfield from its Jct. with Beetwell Street to its Jct. with the A619 Markham Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A619 Markham Rd, Lordsmill Interchange, A619 Markham Rd, West Bars Interchange, West Bars, New Beetwell St, Beetwell St Chesterfield and vice versa.
The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
