Top Hagg Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
TOP HAGG LANE, CHADWICK NICK LANE, FRITCHLEY
WHEN: 24 November to 10 December 2025.
WHERE: Top Hagg Lane, Fritchley between its Jct. with Crich Road and Chadwick Nick Lane, Chadwick Nick Lane at the Jct. with Top Hagg Lane.
REASON: To facilitate gas main replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Crich Common, The Common, Surgery Lane, Market Place, Sandy Lane, Cowper Lane, Chadwick Nick Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
