NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Hadds Lane at
Thorne in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst works to repair the carriageway are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that there is no alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order. Those residents and businesses directly
affected by the works will be notified of the scheme and access
arrangements.

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Spring Lane at
Sprotbrough in the City of Doncaster District as described in the
Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst remedial works to a drainage scheme are
undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via Spring Lane, Little Lane, Brand Lane,
Sheep Lane, Melton Road and vice versa.

intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to
make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation
Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to
be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit
any vehicle from making the left and right turn manoeuvres from
and onto West Moor Link at Edenthorpe in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates
and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst paco patch works on manholes on the
roundabout are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via West Moor Link Hatfield Lane
Roundabout, West Moor Link.

housing development from a point 1250 meters west of its
junction with West Moor Link Thorne Road Roundabout.
2) Prohibit the right turn manoeuvre from the un-named Road at
Edenfields housing development onto West Moor Link at a point
377 meters east of its junction with West Moor Link Hatfield Lane
Roundabout.

23rd November 2025 between 00:00hrs and 23:59hrs.

ASKERN FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 1999
VARIATION ORDER 2025
The above order was made on 5th November 2025. The effect of
the order will be to vary the Doncaster Borough Council Public
Footpath No. 5 Askern Footpath Diversion Order 1999 so as to
(1) stop up the unrecorded path running from grid reference SE
5597 1351 generally south-westwards for some 120 metres to
grid reference SE 5588 1344; (2) stop up Askern footpath no. 5
running from grid reference SE 5594 1349 generally southwestwards for some 85 metres to grid reference SE 5588 1344
and create an alternative footpath instead on a line running from
grid reference SE 5594 1349 south-westwards for some 89
metres to Green Lane at grid reference SE 5588 1344; and (3)
improve the public footpath running from grid reference SE 5596
1352 south-westwards for some 30 metres to grid reference SE
5594 1349, as shown on the order map.
A copy of the 1999 order and the 2025 variation order and map
may be seen free of charge at City of Doncaster Council, Civic
Office, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3BU, from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30
p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the order and map may

Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent
or delivered in writing addressed to the Service Director of Legal

not later than 5th December 2025. Please state the grounds on
which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any
so made are withdrawn, City of Doncaster Council may itself
confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to
the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any
representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will

Street, Boat Lane and vice versa.
