What is happening?

SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL
(ARUNDEL GATE)
(WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

- Environmental Weight Restriction 7.5 tonnes (with exemptions) on parts of
Arundel Gate

A copy of the proposed Orders, plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be in Proposed Traffic Orders on the Council website at

www.sheffield.gov.uk/home/roads-pavements/traffic-orders.


Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by 4 December 2025.
