Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 6th November 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CHERITON (PART), FURZTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2258)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Cheriton, Furzton between number 10 and 15 to enable Openreach to access their underground structure for cabling work.
The closure will take effect from 17th to 20th November 2025 (between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 each day)
Whilst the above length of road is closed, there is no alternative route.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 4 November 2025, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WOLVERTON ROAD, NEWPORT PAGNELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2274)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Wolverton Road, Newport Pagnell from its junction with Brickhill Street (Giffard Park Roundabout) to its junction with Broadway Avenue, to enable Lawrence Baker Limited to carry out Remedial works to central reservation (planning of tarmac and new white lines).
The closure will take effect from 10th to 13th November 2025 (between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm each day).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Brickhill Street, Monks Way, Saxon Street and Wolverton Road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WESTERN ROAD (PART), WOLVERTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2281)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Western Road, Wolverton (its access/service road) from its junction with Woburn Avenue to its junction with the access/service road for Windsor Street, to enable SGN to undertake urgent gas connection works.
The closure will take effect from 12th to 24th November 2025 (24 hours each day).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Woburn Avenue, Western Road (main carriageway) and Windsor Street’s access/service road (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BUCKINGHAM ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2256)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along Buckingham Road, Bletchley from its junction with Brunel Roundabout to its junction with Water Eaton Road, to enable Network Rail to remove a tree from the railway above the carriageway:
The closure will take effect on 13th November 2025 (01:00 – 04:00)
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Saxon Street, Bletcham Way, Grafton Street and Standing Way (and vice versa).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS, EMBERTON) (CONSOLIDATION OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2022) VARIATION ORDER 2025 (Reference TRO-449)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 4th November 2025 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3) and 4(2), and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above made Order will be to alter the existing no waiting at any time restrictions on High Street, Emberton (as proposed on 21st August 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 10th November 2025.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES) (DERESTRICTION) ORDER 2004) REVOCATION (PART) ORDER 2025 (Reference TRO-451)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 4th November 2025 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, Sections 82(2) and 83(2), and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above made Order will be to revoke the current speed restriction to implement the 30mph speed restriction by virtue of street lighting (as proposed on 28th August 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 10th November 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 4th November 2025 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2), 4(2), and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above made Order will be to alter the existing no waiting at any time restrictions on Blackhill Drive in Wolverton Mill (as proposed on 4th September 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 10th November 2025.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 4th November 2025 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above made Order will be to prohibit u-turn manoeuvres on Watling Street (V4), at its junction with Rambouillet Drive, Whitehouse and The High Street, Two Mile Ash in Milton Keynes (as proposed on 25th September 2025).
The made Order will take effect on 10th November 2025.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
