ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Lily Lane from its junction with Butlers Lane to West Street and part of West Street from its junction with Water Lane northbound for approximately 50 metres commencing 5 December 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 for the purpose of sewerage work in the area. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within 6 hours. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: West Street, B1255 Church Lane, B1259 Lighthouse Road, South Sea Road, Lily Lane, Church Street, Flamborough CP, Bridlington North Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic, but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
