THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Greenhill Road, Bonnybridge from 22:00 on 08/11/25 until 06:00 on 14/12/25. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge Repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Greenhill Road, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Reilly Road in a southerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C16, C15, C46, B816, C70 or vice versa.
Duke Street, Denny from 09:30 on 09/11/25 until 07:30 on 10/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Duke Street; Denny west bound only from a point adjacent to Stirling Street in a westerly direction for approximately 60 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A883, A872, Duke Street.
Merchiston Road, Falkirk from 09:30 on 09/11/25 until 07:00 on 10/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Merchiston Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Tophill Entry in an easterly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A9, Merchiston Road or vice versa.
Borrowstoun Road, Bo'ness from 08:00 on 10/11/25 until 18:00 on 11/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Borrowstoun Road, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to Kinglass Cottage in an easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Ward Birkby Drive, Muirhead Crescent, Heggie Place or vice versa.
Glenbervie Avenue, Larbert from 00:01 on 10/11/25 until 23:59 on 14/11/25. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glenbervie Avenue, Larbert from a point adjacent to Glenbervie Drive in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Glenbervie Drive, Glenbervie Crescent, or vice versa.
Hamilton Crescent, Maddiston from 07:30 hours on 10/11/2025 until 17:00 hours on 12/11/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes Hamilton Crescent, Maddiston, from the junction outside number 4 Abercairney Crescent to a point 150m west of this, outside number 22 Hamilton Crescent.
2. This Order also temporarily closes Goodman Place, from the junction at Hamilton Crescent North for 10m.
3. No alternative route is available
School Road, Redding from 07:30 hours on 10/11/2025 until 17:00 hours on 21/11/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.
1. This Order temporarily closes School Road, Redding, from its junction with Redding Road, to its junction with Main Street, Redding.
2. The alternative route is: West to East – B805 Redding Road, Main Street Redding and vice versa.
Miller Crescent, Bo'ness from 09:30 until 1800 on 13/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Miller Crescent, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to number 32 in a southerly direction for approximately 30 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Gledhill Avenue, Miller Crescent or vice versa.
