Alleston Road - Temporary Traffic Prohibition
What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ALLESTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Alleston Road
between properties 8-28.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 08:30 on 17 November 2025, until 16:30
on 28 November 2025.
The diversion route is: Alleston Road, School Lane,
Grosvenor Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate s106 drainage
installation by DSS Civils on behalf of Keon Homes.
