Lower Grove Road / Clarence Road - Temporary Road Closure and Suspension of One-Way Order
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER
LOWER GROVE ROAD / CLARENCE ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 26 November to 28 November 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 each night).
WHERE: Lower Grove Road / Clarence Road Chesterfield - Lower Grove Road in its entirety, Clarence Road from its Jct. with West Bars to its Jct. with Albion Road.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise Only - Rutland Rd, Albion Rd, Rose Hill West, Saltergate, Donut Interchange, Holywell St, St Marys Gate, Lordsmill St, Beetwell St, New Beetwell St, West Bars, West Bars Interchange Chesterfield. The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
