London Borough of Lambeth - temporary traffic and waiting restrictions - Thornlaw Road
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF LAMBETH ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS, THORNLAW ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable SGN to carry repair and maintenance works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intends to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from;
a) entering or proceeding in that length of Thornlaw Road which lies between Knights Hill and No 2. Thornlaw Road;
b) waiting (including waiting for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) in that length of Thornlaw Road which lies between No. 1 Thornlaw Road and Knights Hill (both sides).
2. Alternative routes for affected vehicles would be available via
(i) Knights Hill, St Julian’s Farm Road and Casewick Road, and (ii) Thornlaw Road, Casewick Road and St Julians’s Farm Road.
3. The Order would come into force on 24 November 2025 and would continue for a maximum duration of 2 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would be carried out between 24 November and 7 December 2025. If the works cannot be carried out or completed during this time, then the Order may have effect on subsequent dates within the maximum period of 2 months.
