Coombe Road, East Meon - Temporary Road Closure due to Tree Maintenance Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – COOMBE ROAD, EAST MEON, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Coombe Road between its junction with Whitwool Lane and continuing to a point 600 metres Northeast on Coombe Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Droxford Road, High Street, Coombe Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 19th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
