Acacia Road Footpath, Hordle - Temporary Footpath Closure due to Resurfacing Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE –
ACACIA ROAD FOOTPATH, HORDLE, NEW FOREST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
FOOTPATH TO BE CLOSED: that part of Acacia Road Footpath between its junction with Acacia Road and its junction with Everton Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Monteray Drive.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 17th November 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days working between the hours 09:00–17:00).
