Maclehose Road, Cumbernauld - Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian Movement

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN MOVEMENT) ORDER 2025

On 27 October 2025 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on reconstructing footpath) on Maclehose Road from the rear corner of Kildrum Nursery to the side Numbers 93 - 95 by reason of works being executed on or near that location.

Alternative routes: via Lochlea Road

Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.

The Order, will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 10 November 2025 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Monday, 24 November 2025.
