What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(FRONT STREET, SLIP END)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has

made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Front Street, Slip End adjacent to number 128.

This temporary closure is required to enable new water connection work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 11 to 16 November 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Church Road, Newlands Road, A1081, Halfmoon Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 11 November 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(SUNDON ROAD, HARLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sundon Road, Harlington outside number 53.

This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 10 to 12 November 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Barton Road, Harlington Road, Sharpenhoe Road, Sundon Road, Streatley Road, Harlington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 10 November 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(TODDINGTON ROAD, HARLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Toddington Road, Harlington from A5120 to Station Road.

This temporary closure is required to enable various section 278 works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 13 November to 18 December 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A5120, Westoning Road, Greenfield Road, High Street, Maulden Road, A507, A6, Barton Road, Harlington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 13 November 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
