Multiple Roads, Church Crookham - Prohibition of right turn
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council (“the Council”) made the above-mentioned Order on Tuesday 28th October 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2,3 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act), and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act. General nature and effects of the Order: Will be to implement a prohibition for vehicles travelling along roads named under column 1 from making right turn manoeuvres into roads described under column 2 as described by the following schedule: Schedule Column 1 Column 2 (i) Beacon Hill Trading Park Beacon Hill Road (ii) Esso Service Station Southern exit Reading Road South

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Friday 19th December 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
