SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF
THROUGH TRAFFIC
PART OF BOTH MITCHELL LANE AND
COMMON LANE (PRIVATE), HIGH CATTON
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire
Council intends not less than seven days from the
date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of
which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding
along part of both Mitchell Lane and Common Lane
(private), High Catton from its junction with Howl
Gate southbound to the access to Lodge Farm
commencing 3 December 2025
08.00 hours
until 5 December 2025
17.00 hours for the
purpose of installing ducting and chambers for the
new BDUK fibre netowrk on behalf of Quickline
Communications work.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to
be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring
the safety of the public. The Order is valid for
18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
completed within three days.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the road
closure will be via: N/A no through road section
The road will be closed to all through traffic but access
will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles
and pedestrians.
