Order 2025
On the 27 October 2025 the Council made the above named Order under, Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to restrict vehicular access and movements on Station Road Giffnock in order to safely facilitate the Giffnock Christmas Village Event scheduled to be held within the Station Car Park and on or near Station Road.
The Order authorises a temporary road closure of Station Road in order to minimise potential conflict between vehicles and pedestrians and will apply to all vehicles except those directly associated with the event and/or given specific permission by the event organisers or their authorised representatives.
The road closure restriction will be in operation on Station Road from 12.01am until 9pm on Saturday 8 November 2025.
Emergency vehicle access and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
