What is happening?
THE NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL
(WELLS-NEXT-THE-SEA, U10031 MARKET LANE AND U100320 WAVENEY CLOSE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
Norfolk County Council has made the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the 28th October 2025 which comes into operation on the 4th November 2025, the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle to wait at any time along the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 below and on Monday to Friday between 0800 hrs and 1600 hrs along the length of road specified in Schedule 2 below.
A copy of the Order and a plan can be viewed online at www.norfolk.citizenspace.com. Copies are also available for inspection at Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH and at the offices of North Norfolk District Council, Council Offices, Holt Road, Cromer NR27 9EN during normal office hours. Online viewing is recommended.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the 28th October 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
