(Prohibition Of Motor Vehicles) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on Friday the 31st day of October 2025 Somerset Council made the above order in pursuance of the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised in the West Somerset Free Press on the 23rd day of May 2025 to introduce Prohibition of Motor Vehicles on the length of road as specified in the Schedule to this Order.
The Order comes into effect on the 7th day of November 2025.
A copy of the Order may be inspected online at www.somerset.gov.uk/TRO.
If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
