What is happening?
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON THE BOLTON (REGULATION OF WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2015 AND THE BOLTON (SHORESWOOD AND BELMONT ROAD)(TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (No.126) ORDER 2024
(ASTLEY BRIDGE WARD VARIOUS STREETS) (AMENDMENT) (NO.20) ORDER 2025
The Borough Council of Bolton has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will be operative from the 7th November 2025. The effect of the Order will be as follows: Deletions:
No Waiting At Any Time
Shoreswood (both), Belmont Road (south-west), Belmont Road (both) and Ashworth Lane (north) No Waiting Monday - Saturday 7:30am - 9:30am and Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 6:30pm Blackburn Road (both) Additions:
No Waiting At Any Time:
Blackburn Road (west), Thorncliffe Road (both), Stonyhurst Avenue (both), Belmont Road (south-west), Wilkinson Road (both), Shoreswood (both), Belmont Road (north-east), Ashworth Lane (south) (north), Whitegate Drive (both), Cotford Road (both), Belmont Road (north-east), Templecombe Drive (north-west), Templecombe Drive (south-east), Ashworth Lane (north), Ashworth Lane (south) and Hugh Lupus Street (both)
No Waiting Monday - Saturday 7:30am - 9:30am and Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 6:30pm Blackburn Road (west) and Blackburn Road (east)
No Waiting Monday - Saturday 7:30am - 6:30pm Ashworth Lane (south) Ashworth Lane (north) A copy of the Order, together with relevant plans and statement of the reasons may be viewed online at www.bolton.gov.uk/trafficorders and at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Bolton during office hours. Anybody wishing to question the Order's provisions or validity may, within 6 weeks from the 31st October 2025 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
