Rhoddir rhybudd drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Powys yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn dan Adran 82 a 84 Deddf Traffig y Ffyrdd 1984, fel y’i diwygiwyd.

Pan ddaw’r Gorchymyn hwn i rym, fe fydd hi’n anghyfreithlon i yrru cerbyd ar gyflymder sy’n fwy na trideg milltir yr awr ar hyd y rhan o’r ffordd a nodir yn yr Atodlen isod.

Y darn hwnnw o ffordd ddosbarthedig sirol yr A4811 a elwir Ffordd Llanidloes sy’n ymestyn o bwynt sydd tua 23 o fetrau i’r dwyrain o’i chyffordd â Ffordd Osgoi’r A489(T) Y Drenewydd wrth Gylchfan Ffordd Llanidloes, i gyfeiriad y dwyrain hyd at bwynt sydd tua 255 o fetrau i’r gorllewin o’i chyffordd â ffordd ddosbarthedig sirol y C2025 Heol Ashley wrth gylchfan y coleg.

Rhaid anfon unrhyw wrthwynebiadau a sylwadau am y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn ysgrifenedig i’r sawl sydd wedi arwyddo isod erbyn 30 Tachwedd 2025.

(A4811 Llanidloes Road, Newtown) (30 MPH Speed Limit) (No.2) Order 202_

Notice is hereby given that Powys County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 82 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

When this Order comes into effect, it will be unlawful to drive a vehicle at a speed exceeding thirty miles per hour along the length of road identified in the Schedule below.

A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the length of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be viewed on the Council’s website at https://en.powys.gov.uk/trafficconsult

Schedule

That length of the A4811 county classified highway known as Llanidloes Road which extends from a point approximately 23 metres east of its junction with the A489(T) Newtown Bypass at Llanidloes Road Roundabout, in an easterly direction to a point approximately 255 metres west of its junction with the C2025 county classified highway Heol Ashley at the college roundabout.

Objections and other representations to the proposed Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned by the 30th November 2025.
