PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WIGHTWICK BANK) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Wightwick Bank in
both directions between its junction with Bridgnorth Road
to the entrance of Wightwick Manor.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 13 November 2025 until 26 November
2025.
The diversion route is: Bridgnorth Road, The Holloway,
Church Road, School Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of the
electricity supply for EV charging by Last Mile Electricity
Limited.
