What is happening?

(CHURCH WAYS & VICARAGE LANE, SOUTH TAWTON)
ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order.
From 11/11/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 24/11/25. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: CHURCH WAYS & VICARAGE LANE, SOUTH TAWTON The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - ROAD FROM CHURCH VIEW COTTAGE TO EASTFIELD SOUTH TAWTON, ROAD FROM SORRELS TO SLEWHILL CROSS SOUTH TAWTON, & VICE VERSA.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: OVERHEAD WORKS.

From 3/12/25 for a maximum of 18 months.
Anticipated Finish 10/12/25.
No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.
Roads affected: CHOLLACOTT LANE, TAVISTOCK THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.
This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TRENCHING WORKS FOR CABLE DIVERSION.
