WANDSWORTH BOROUGH COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE – RIVERSIDE ROAD SW17

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an order to restrict vehicular movement in Riverside Road to facilitate Southern Gas Networks utility works.

  2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Riverside Road from the side of The Corner Pin Public House to the junction with Summerstown. There will be no waiting at any time.

  3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

  4. Further information may be obtained from the Council’s Network Management section – telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

  5. The order will come into operation on 3 November 2025 and will remain in place until the works are complete.

    The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 7 November 2025.

Proposed Parking Changes, Patmore Street, SW8

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004:-

    • The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ) Order 20

    • The Wandsworth (Battersea) (Parking Places) (No. ) Order 20

  2. The general effect of the Orders is detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

  3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

  4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds on which it is made to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

  • The deletion of the existing double yellow lines on the western side of Patmore Street and the reinstallation of 15m x 2m of controlled parking zone bay space immediately north of the southern-most vehicular access to Crampton House (CPZ Battersea B8, Monday – Saturday 08.30–18.30, or pay and display maximum stay four hours)

  • The deletion of the existing double yellow lines on the western side of Patmore Street and the reinstallation of 15m x 2m of controlled parking zone bay space immediately south of the vehicular access to 1-42 Stroudley House (CPZ Battersea B8, Monday – Saturday 08.30–18.30, or pay and display maximum stay four hours)

  • The deletion of the existing double yellow lines on the western side of Patmore Street and the installation of 5m x 2m of controlled parking zone bay space immediately north of the vehicular access to 1-42 Stroudley House (CPZ Battersea B8, Monday – Saturday 08.30–18.30, or pay and display maximum stay four hours) (net loss of 10m x 2m of CPZ parking bay space in comparison to the previous permanent TMO)

  • The deletion of the existing double yellow lines on the western side of Patmore Street and the installation of 10m x 2m of controlled parking zone bay space immediately north of the vehicular access to 1-42 Stroudley House (CPZ Battersea B8, Monday – Saturday 08.30–18.30, or pay and display maximum stay four hours)

  • The deletion of the existing double yellow lines and “Keep Clear” road markings on the eastern side of Patmore Street and the installation of new double yellow lines on the eastern side of Patmore Street along the western frontage of the new development for its entirety.

  • The installation of 50m x 2m of inset CPZ bay parking space immediately east of the carriageway on the eastern side of Patmore Street south of the new development’s vehicular access (CPZ Battersea B8, Monday – Saturday 08.30–18.30, or pay and display maximum stay four hours)
