Temporary Closure and restrictions of various roads (Ruspidge & Soudley Parish)

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS (RUSPIDGE & SOUDLEY PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below. 

The reason for the said closures is for carriageway resurfacing works.
The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted from 10th November 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that
all works will be completed by 14th November 2025. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order can remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C15 LYDNEY ROAD (WEST DEAN PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C15 Lydney Road from outside the property known as ‘Hulks Farm’ to outside the
property known as ‘Badhamsfield’ for a distance of approximately 750 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 25th November 2025 until 15:30hrs on 27th November 2025 or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400098 BRIDGE STREET (BLAKENEY PARISH) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400098 Bridge Street Road outside the property known as ‘The Minerz’ for a
distance of approximately 25 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

outside the property known as ‘No. 29’ for a distance of approximately 65 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.
The said road is expected to be closed from 24th November 2025 until 28th November 2025 or until the said works have been completed. Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400370 Barrel Lane Road from outside the property known as ‘Greenacres’ to
the Bridge for a distance of approximately 140 metres. The reason for the said closure is for manhole lining works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed between 07:00hrs and 19:00hrs on 25th November 2025 or until the said works have been completed. TEMPORARY CLOSURE C357 ROAD FROM COUNTY BOUNDARY TO SWANPOOL WOOD (NEWLAND AND STAUNTON PARISHES) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C357 Road from the County Boundary to Swanpool Wood and from the County
Boundary to outside the property known as ‘The Pump House’ for a distance of approximately 355 metres. The reason for the said closure is for tree cutting works. The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 28th November 2025 or until the said works have been completed.
