LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. ) Order 202 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 (insofar as applicable) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984¹, as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling
The general effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) introduce /extend no waiting and no loading/unloading restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in
(i) Banstead Road South, Sutton outside No. 78
(ii) Lind Road, Sutton outside Capeli Cymraeg Llundain Chapel
(iii) Overton Road, Sutton outside and across the entrance to Washington Court
(iv) Rochester Road, Carshalton outside the entrance to Morgan Court
(v) Roseberry Road outside Nos 1 to 5 Potters Court
(vi) Shrubland Grove, Worcester Park outside Nos. 1 and 14
(vii) Trent Way, Worcester Park outside No. 25, outside and adjacent No. 53 and opposite No. 44
(b) introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) in Barrow Hedges Way, Carshalton outside Nos. (evens) 4 to 32 and adjacent No. 33 Beeches Avenue and adjacent No. 115 Banstead Road operating Monday to Friday between 1pm to 2pm
(c) introduce a Shared Use Parking bay in Mulgrave Road, Sutton opposite No. 64 operating Monday to Saturday between 8am to 6.30pm
(d) introduce a bus cage in Lind Road, Sutton outside Nos. (evens) 41 to 45
(e) change the hours of operation of the existing single yellow line in Ambleside Gardens, Sutton to operate Monday to Saturday between 8.30am to 5.30pm and Monday to Friday 11am to 1pm
(f) change the hours of operation of the existing Disabled Persons Parking place in Banstead Road, Carshalton outside No. 52 to operate Monday to Saturday between 8.30am to 5.30pm, maximum stay 3 hours, no return within 1 hour
(g) reduce the existing no waiting and no loading/unloading restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in Shrubland Grove, Worcester Park around the island site opposite Nos. (evens) 12 to 16 only
(h) remove the existing Residents Parking bay in Lind Road, Sutton outside Capeli Cymraeg Llundain Chapel operating Monday to Saturday between 8am to 6.30pm
(i) remove the existing motorcycle bay opposite No. 64 Mulgrave Road, Sutton
(j) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2023 to match conditions as they exist on site.
Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA.
