LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Order The Sutton (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. ) Order 202 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 (insofar as applicable) to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984¹, as amended, and all other powers thereunto enabling

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) introduce ‘at any time’ waiting and loading restrictions (double yellow lines and kerb blips) in

(i) Crichton Road at its junction with Beeches Avenue

(ii) Beeches Avenue outside No. 10

(b) introduce /extend no waiting and no loading/unloading restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in

(i) Burns Close outside No. 21

(ii) Roman Way, outside and adjacent No. 5

(iii) Stanley Park Road opposite Nos. (odds) 89 to 91

(iv) The Warren adjacent No. 125 Woodmansterne Road

(v) Windborough Road outside Nos. 76 to 78

(c) introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) in Barrow Hedges Way outside Nos. (evens) 4 to 32 and adjacent No. 33 Beeches Avenue and adjacent No. 115 Banstead Road to operate Monday to Friday between 1pm and 2pm

(d) change the hours of operation of the existing single yellow line in Stanley Park Road, outside Nos. (evens) 52 to the entrance of Sherwood Hill to operate Monday to Friday between 8am and 9am and between 5pm and 6.30pm

(e) change the hours of operation of the existing Disabled Persons Parking place in Banstead Road, Carshalton outside No. 52 to operate Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 6.30pm maximum stay 3 hours no return within 2 hours

(f) remove no waiting and no loading/unloading restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in

(i) Stanley Road outside Nos. (odds) 153 to 159

(ii) Windborough Road outside No. 77

(g) amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Order 202* to reflect the changes to the waiting and loading restrictions as described above and as shown on the attached plan

Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council’s Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA.
